Amber is celebrated not only for her musical talents but also for her ability to connect with students on a personal level, making her an invaluable member of the teaching team. As a committed educator, Amber emphasizes the importance of play over traditional practice, fostering an environment where creativity and enjoyment are paramount. Her empathetic and encouraging approach helps students feel comfortable and confident as they explore their musical abilities. With over 20 years performance experience, since she started vocal and stage training at thirteen. She has studied vocal production with local teachers including, Susan Gudgeon, Lita Classen as well as Laura Pudwell of Tafelmusik. She is an official ViP (Vocology in Practice) Instructor. This elite group of global voice professionals have provided Amber the tools to assist her clients in many ways. Amber is a distinguished First Nations singer and music instructor at Capstone Music. With a deep passion for music that transcends genres, Amber brings a unique blend of cultural heritage and contemporary musical techniques to her teaching. Her rich, soulful voice and exceptional understanding of music theory make her an inspiring mentor for students of all ages.
