Amber Kakiishiway – Piano, Vocal, Ukulele

Amber is a celebrated vocalist and music educator at Capstone Music, known not only for her exceptional musical talents but also for her ability to connect with students on a deeply personal level. With over 20 years of performance experience — beginning her vocal and stage training at the age of thirteen — Amber brings a wealth of real-world knowledge to her teaching. She has studied vocal production under respected instructors such as Susan Gudgeon, Lita Classen, and Laura Pudwell of Tafelmusik, and is an accredited ViP (Vocology in Practice) and Speech Level Singing (SLS) Instructor, part of an elite group of global voice professionals.

At Capstone, Amber emphasizes the importance of play over traditional practice, creating an environment where creativity, exploration, and enjoyment are at the heart of every lesson. Her empathetic and encouraging style helps students feel confident as they grow in their skills and musical expression.
